Our Pull Up On The Youth campaign strived to serve 5,000 children during the summer months of 2025 to help fill the gap from the staggering statistic of food insecurity in the DFW area. With help from our partners at BlueBell Creameries, community members, small businesses, and food banks, we are happy to announce that EmpowerUp serve just under 6,000 children!
In partnership with Connect Church Plano, Empower Up was tasked with collecting shoes for CCP's Back To School Event in July 2025 (Christmas in July). We are excited to announce that were able to serve almost 2,000 children with shoes, backpacks, school supplies, and socks.
Empower Up Inc's mission is to help provide relief to families who are in need. In 2025, we wanted to help relieve financial stress to families by making and providing FREE Easter Baskets! We were able to make and distribute 50 baskets to members of our communities!
Corey Borner is a pillar of strength and determination in his community. After surviving a devastating injury during a high school football game, he has become an inspiration to all in his community. We were proud to partner with him during his 4th annual Corey Borner Day by providing 1,000 snacks to the children that attended.
Our first official project in the community was being able to feed 50 un-housed. Not only did EmpowerUp's Crew serve those in need, but our children wanted to get involved by helping pack the meals and hand them out!
EmpowerUp Inc is thrilled to have had the opportunity to support our community by providing snacks at six back-to-school events as well as National Night Out 2025. We believe that fueling young minds is essential, and we're proud to contribute to a positive and engaging learning environment. Thank you to everyone involved for making these events success!
Christmas 2024 was our first Christmas toy giveaway. We were able to provide new, unopened toys to 20 Families!
Starting December 2024 through May 2025, EmpowerUp Inc sponsored school lunch accounts in Freestone County. Although children receive free breakfast and lunch, many kids were still hungry. We provided 3 children per meal per day with extra meals.
