Businesswoman, Founder, Survivor, Changemaker Brie is a powerful voice for resilience, empowerment, and leadership. As the Founder and Executive Director of EmpowerUp Inc., she brings her lived experience as a survivor and her expertise as a business leader into every room she enters. With a background in nonprofit management, HR, and team building, Brie speaks with heart, truth, and vision—encouraging others to turn their pain into purpose, lead with compassion, and make a lasting impact in their communities.
Kristen
Board Chair
Kristen has been a passionate small business owner since 2016, blending her love for art with entrepreneurship. She began by launching a studio offering Sip & Paint classes, eventually expanding to include face and body painting services. Kristen’s commitment to her community extends beyond business, having served in various leadership roles. She first became involved in board work as Policy Counsel Chairperson for Families in Partnership Early Head Start, later joining their Board. Simultaneously, she contributed her expertise to the local Community Health Center Board for several years. Kristen also made a mark as President of the Kiwanis Club, before relocating to Texas. With a wealth of experience in both board governance and community engagement, Kristen is excited to bring her leadership skills to her newly appointed role as Chairperson of EmpowerUpInc!
